Technical Information
The photos on these pages from 2000 and 2001 were taken with a Casio
QV2000UX digital camera, which was a fairly basic model. Photos from
late 2001 to 2006 were taken with a Sony F707, which is a big 5-megapixel
camera with a big zoom lens. Wanting something more portable to take
hiking, I bought a cheap Nikon L3 in 2007.
With the Casio, I was shooting primarily at the 800x600 size, but with
the Sony and Nikon I've been using full resolution for outdoor photos
and then shrinking and cropping on the computer. On some photos I've
also done a little tinkering with brightness levels.
